Matthew 6:14-15

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your
Father will not forgive your sins.

*************

So what exactly does this mean.

If you let someone into your house and they steal from you, you
forgive them are you required to let them into your house again? Then
if you do without suspicion or trust.

How far does this forgiveness go?

That is true for the number of times. I am concerned with what it
entails.

I am concerned with what it entails.
well, what if every time someone 'stole' a dollar from you,
and you 'forgave' the offense, 10 dollars sprouted into your
account in its place?

you'd almost consider inviting people over and saying;

"steal from me...please"

and they'd be wondering;

"why does this guy -want- me to steal from him?"

and you'd be telling them;

"take a hundred"

you wouldn't be 'feeling' like such a fool

for being a doormat according to the 'world's "worldview"

cuz, when someone steals from them, and they seek

immediate vengeful recompense, they -lose- =TEN= dollars"

instead of only just the one.

does that make any sense to you at all?

well, if someone pressed you to walk -one- mile with them,

why -should- you

walk a second mile?

if someone pressed you for your shoes,

why -should- you offer them your coat as well?

yeah, i suppose it all should be for no 'reward'

and out of the 'kindness' of your heart,

but, maybe, you'll end up being 'rewarded' with a kinder heart

and one that actually -will- rise above the grave...

but then, someone says;

"you're still just innit for the REEWARD"

and you wanna completely obliterate -that- 'mindest'

well, by the time you get to 70 x 7

your =self= will be a spec of dust...

but your heart may be that of an ArchAngel...

do you think you'll still 'feel' like a 'fool'

for being a doormat in your own house?

nobody said it was "easy"

nor that the "world" would 'praise' you for it...

but, if the 'world' started to open its eyes to it

you'd see more than spare change on the sidewalks...

you might really see streets paved in gold

real change...

Maybe there is hope for a better future. Well until ISIS takes over.

Thanks for your view.

That assumes there is a father.

And apparently this supposed father is incapable of foegiving unless he
impregnates a virgin to give birth to his son who as part of his plan is to
be put to death as a sacrifice.

Clearly, it didn't cross (sic) this father's mind just to forgive people.
