A Christian will strive toward perfection, knowing full well that it
will forever be unobtainable.
To me the first part means to be the best Christian you can be and to
strive to improve yourself. Some say works do not matter but does it
look bad in Christ eyes if you help people.
The second part is far more difficult for some to understand. We will
never in this life be perfect.
We always need to strive to be better, to improve and to learn more,
we also need to learn more so we can help more people find Christ
Some people already think they are perfect, that they are vessels for
Christ word, they were chosen or appointed. The problem I have with
this is that vessels of Christ would speak with one voice. They would
all say the same thing and that would be truth. They would not
disagree on anything as they would be filled with the Spirit and know
truth.
May God Bless you all
