When will "SOON" come?
Possibly before you die.

It is all keyed off by the re-establishment of Israel as a nation, and when
you see the nation putting out its branches the generation of that time will
not pass away before he returns.

No man knows the day or the hour of his return, and that means exactly what
it says,

“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and
putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye
shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I
say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be
fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass
away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven,
but my Father only.” (Mat 24:32-36, KJV)

Then Jesus speaks of the snatching away of the ekklesia. One taken and one
left.

“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered
into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field;
the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at
the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye
know not what hour your Lord doth come.” (Mat 24:38-42, KJV)

This book has an interesting history. It was the last book to gain
universal acceptance as part of the NT canon. That came some 5 centuries
or so after it was written and after intense debate as to its authenticity
and content.

That debate continues today, there are different schools of thought as to
what was its intended audience, to what period of history did it apply; at
the time of its writing or future events, and what to make of the highly
symbolic language used and how the church understood those symbols in that
period of the 1st century.

Here are 2 surveys of the 4 schools of thought on Revelation:

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto
his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and
signified it by his angel unto his servant John:†(Rev 1:1, KJV)

This is a revelation, an apocalyptic revelation, given to Jesus by His
Father, who then sent it by His Angel to John.

Many there be that read this and do not see it clearly and cleanly spoken.
This book has an interesting history. It was the last book to gain
universal acceptance as part of the NT canon. That came some 5 centuries

and content.
Those who followed after John testified of this book as being by John.

This book is also strongly supported in the books of the prophets of the OT,
the book of Daniel, which was sealed at that time unto this time, and the
Chapters at the beginning of the Book of Isaiah are all close parallels.
Anywhere one sees the "Times of Jacobs troubles" or "The Day of the Lord" it
is speaking of these days, the last week of years given to the Jews as spoken
by Daniel regarding the 70 weeks of years.

The simple fact that God anoints 144,000 Jewish young men, who are all
virgins, shows the extension of God's promises to his people, at that same
time two prophets return from heaven to withstand ALL that is put against
them, even by the calling down of fire from heaven to destroy their
attackers, as did Elijah, until their appointed time to die, shows the
magnificent power and love of God for his people who have all but abandoned
him. All of which happens in the first 3.5 years. The book of Daniel also
speaks to the breakdown of the 70th week of years in this manner.

It is a terrible, yet terrific story of what is to come, as well as a
testimony of the 7 churches. Their state or status prior to the main body of
the revelation.

This book is not sealed, as was the book of Daniel was for that time.

It is given for all who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and are spirit
filled to understand. Which, BTW, is the state of all who have been redeemed.
That debate continues today, there are different schools of thought as to
what was its intended audience, to what period of history did it apply; at
the time of its writing or future events, and what to make of the highly
symbolic language used and how the church understood those symbols in that
period of the 1st century.
