Sitting there smugly in their religious robes and many of the "High Churches"
Have been anti-Jewish historically. That reputation in Europe permeated
society, and was enhanced by Nazism. I will not delve into that much at this
time, but Satan used it as a tool to demean the Jew, and to try and eradicate
them off the face of the earth since the time of Jesus. He has failed in
destroying them, and he always will but he has succeeded in generating much
hatred towards the people called by God.
What many "Christians" smugly think is that they are now the the chosen
people, not realizing that they are the adopted Children of God, that is
those that are born again and walk in His light. The promises, all of then
was to the Jew. The blessings of Abraham, to the Jew. There is a mention of
the "black sheep of the family" being called in at a future time and that
time was after the resurrection of King Jesus.
The message of the Gospel was always intended for the Jew first, and then the
rest. Prophecy is highly geared around the Israelites, and their calendar.
The feast days, the High Holy days all had and still have great significance
to all the children of God.
We gentiles are the beneficiaries of their refusal of the Messiah. Now, in
Christ Jesus, we along with the born again Jew are all one. There is no
division spiritually between us. All the Blessings of Israel belong to us
both, equally, as we have all been grafted into the same tree. They are the
natural branches, and the Lord Jesus the horticulturist that grafts us into
that same tree.
There is a whole lot more that can be said here, but this is it for now.
But remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and be wary of Satan who
seeks to divide us all and destroy all of Israel in the process.
