Job is reasoning with God. Rather, God is reasoning with Job.

Now watch the Lord: He has reasoned with Job's mind, but the Lord wants
more; He wants Job's heart.

Job 42:1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
Job 42:2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no THOUGHT can
be withholden from thee.

There is Job's mind, and now the push for the centre of his being.

Job 42:3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore
have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which
I knew not.

God wanting more.

Job 42:4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee,
and declare thou unto me.

Driving deeper into Job, and now finally.

Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine
eye seeth thee.

My wife just had the revelation, the hearing of the ear is the mind, BUT
NOW my eye, my heart sees you. Wonderful!

Job 42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

Now the Lord has his whole heart, which is beyond mental reasoning.

And that is what true repentance is, and why it is only ever once.

Job, close enough to God to see him. Good for all of us!

Yes, God is close, so there is hope for all, but what of the unrepentant
that refuse Him?

Now, here is the thing that has me in suspense right now (God's will).

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us. No great and glorious man-made
religious belief and faith required. :-).

However, sin is not imputed where there is no law; the law was fulfilled
in Christ Jesus, and the veil of the temple was rent in twain for all
men, Jew and Gentile, to enter into the throne of God and make their
petition before God.

Nevertheless, what is the use of repentance if the Lord saved all on the
cross from their sin? After all, you don't have to go into the throne
room of God and ask to be forgiven, as you were already forgiven while
you were yet 'not giving a damn' about God.

This also comes to mind. Luke 17:11-19.

The only answer I can fathom right now that makes sense to me (an
assumption, only), is that some go to be with the Lord in the new heaven
(those who repent and love Him), and some stay on the new earth (those
who choose not to repent and don't love Him).

True repentance cannot be in vain, I believe; repentance is repentance,
and is. We do have a choice.

So, I await the Lord's revelation about the above or another completely
different understanding...if He will that I should know. If not, what
does it really matter.

I have already been judged and found guilty, reached out to the Lord,
