Post by Yoo Toob## Jesus's Kingdom Will NEVER Be On Earth ##
Lies.
"Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"
(Matthew 6:10)
1. God promised an everlasting kingdom on Earth to David's lineage.
2 Samuel 7:12-13: “When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with
your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come
from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house
for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever”
(ESV). This promise points to Jesus, the ultimate descendant of David,
whose throne will be established forever (Luke 1:32-33).
2. The prophets foretold an earthly reign of the Messiah.
Isaiah 9:6-7: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the
government shall be upon his shoulder... Of the increase of his
government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and
over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with
righteousness from this time forth and forevermore” (ESV). This prophecy
ties the Messiah's reign to David's throne, which is earthly by context.
Zechariah 14:9: “And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that
day the Lord will be one and his name one” (ESV). This describes a
global, earthly reign after the Messiah's return.
3. Jesus taught about a future earthly kingdom.
Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is
in heaven” (ESV). Jesus instructed His disciples to pray for the kingdom
to come to earth, implying an earthly reign.
Matthew 19:28: “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of
Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also
sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel” (ESV). Jesus
clearly associates His kingdom with a future earthly reign.
4. Revelation describes Jesus reigning on Earth.
Revelation 11:15: “Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there
were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever
and ever’” (ESV). This indicates the transformation of earthly kingdoms
into Christ’s dominion.
Revelation 20:4-6: This passage describes the millennial reign of
Christ, during which He rules on Earth with His saints.
5. Jesus's return involves establishing His kingdom on Earth.
Acts 1:11: “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This
Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way
as you saw him go into heaven” (ESV). Jesus ascends from the Mount of
Olives and will return to the same location (Zechariah 14:4), where He
will establish His rule.
6. The Psalms affirm an earthly kingdom for the Messiah.
Psalm 2:6-8: “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill... Ask
of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the
earth your possession” (ESV). Zion refers to an earthly location where
the Messiah will reign over the nations.
Psalm 72:8-11: This psalm describes the Messiah’s dominion “from sea to
sea” and over “all nations,” indicating a universal and earthly reign.
Conclusion
Scripture overwhelmingly supports the reality of Jesus’s future earthly
kingdom. God promised David a throne tied to Earth, and the prophets,
psalms, and Jesus Himself affirmed this. Revelation reveals the
culmination of history in Christ’s reign over the nations on Earth. The
statement “Jesus’s Kingdom Will NEVER Be On Earth” contradicts the
consistent testimony of Scripture.

Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God
raised Him from the dead?
That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death
satisfied God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John
2:1-2). This means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your
sins, and saving you from eternal damnation.
On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you: "For 'everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13, ESV).
