Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoPost by Michael McLeanYou can't keep the law anymore than you can follow all scripture.
What? You keep your preference, and leave the rest? And that gets a pass?
"If you don't keep all the scriptures, you can't keep any of them."
You are either the fulfillment of them or you are still in your sin.
Mike
Instead of admitting your error on a previous post you come up with this?
What a shame. You multiplied your error twenty fold, and then added to it.
Who was under the Law? It was the Jew, not the Gentile. Had you knowledge of
scripture you would have seen that.
By one man sin and death came upon all nations, not just upon the Jews.
There were no Jews at the time. If you cared to read my post you would have
seen that I spoke of the Law, not sin as the primary subject. Which most
people recognize as the Mosaic law. Before that was the Noahide laws, and
before that there was no written law, other than the spiritual law upon the
hearts of men for 2,000 years. Then the Noahide Laws came into play for about
700 years and there was still no Jews.
Now to address your litany of errors.
Post by NightBulb.net"For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the
obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered,
that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much
more abound:"
This is historically after the resurrection of Jesus the Messiah. Your quote
does not follow the timeline given in the Bible.
Post by NightBulb.netThe nations (gentiles) were always under the curse of the transgression
of Adam. It was the law of Moses that made the death penalty take
effect, and paved the way for Jesus to remove the curse. Until the law
of Moses came to effect the sentence, sentence was delayed. Then the
indictment was nailed to the cross. Jesus saved all men, not just the
followers of Moses. Jesus atoned for the transgression of Adam, not just
the transgression of the Mosaic law. The Mosaic law made sin abound, so
that mercy could abound. God did not want to play favorites. He wanted
everyone back, not just a few. He gets what he wants.
The curse of the transgression of Adam was work, hard work. The curse of the
death of men spiritually happened at the time of Adam, and all men since were
born with a sin nature. Even so, God provided a path of salvation to all the
peoples of the earth via the sacrifice of Blood. Which when done by faith
according to the teachings of God and by His Prophets, men were forgiven
their sin, pre-flood and also afterwards until the Israelites.
As to your comment about judgement delayed, try telling that to the millions
of men who perished in the Great Flood. Also living in sin as most did
pre-flood day carried its own consequences deaths by murder, avenged deaths
by murder, disease running rampant especially for sexual sins and so on, as
sin carries with it its own destructions. All of it unruly.
Jesus atoned for the sins of the Law of Moses, he was the lamb that was slain
for the sins of the earth, for all who are willing to believe and receive it.
He was the second Adam. The one who brought life everlasting to men, as just
mentioned.
Jesus came for the Jew first, as promised by the prophets of old. When as a
nation they rejected him, it was then to minister to the jews world wide, and
then the Gentiles, which all the Apostles did, even Paul, the one called to
minister to the Gentiles the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Post by NightBulb.netGod does not need your help to save souls. By pretending to this effort
you are making a mockery of grace.
And you are the one?
I know God does not need my help to save souls as Jesus already paid the full
price for the hearts of men. Yet I am called to sow the seeds of it, and or
water as the case may be, but it is Jesus who harvests.
Post by NightBulb.net“For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things
Post by Dr. Whocontained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto
themselves:” (Rom 2:14, KJV)
Really? And just what conclusions do you speak of? Especially since you had
exhibited no reading comprehension of what I said.
In your haste to criticize you flat out ignored this, which prefaces the
remarks you made next.
“Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience
also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else
excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by
Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Behold, thou art called a Jew, and
restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,” (Rom 2:15-17, KJV)
Are you now the Jew mentioned above which criticizes as you wrote before?
After all you did put yourself in their shoes.
Post by NightBulb.net"Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou
that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest
a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that
abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast
of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name
of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be
a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision."
So how about you answering your own statement with due diligence.
Post by NightBulb.netIn other words keeping the law is the impossible, nonsensical effort of
hypocrites. And it is so obviously hypocritical that the Gentiles see
these lawkeepers keeping their precious 'law' and blaspheme the God of
the Jews on account of their hypocrisy. The self-righteousness of "law
keepers" or "bible keepers" spreads sin far and wide!
Hmmm. Now you align yourself with Michael and tie law keepers and bible
keepers into the same boat, thus making the same errors as did he. From where
stems your righteousness?
Post by NightBulb.netJudaism and Christianity have produced more atheists and weirdos than
any thing. People who have a shred of conscience cannot stomach the
hypocrisy and thus throw out the baby with the bathwater and reject the
And you aren't?
Post by NightBulb.net"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is
not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we
have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
Then you best speak to Michael as he has denied that he has any sin in his
life, and that if anyone does commit a sin that they are then a sinner.
Which, again, he says he is not. Yet that aside, you are quoting out of
context as you have done above. At least you are consistent in that. ;)
Post by NightBulb.netThe true law-keeper and follower of the bible is not someone who keeps
Don't you mean that those who follow God, not the Bible, as well as the "new
law" written upon their spirits are those that follow God? BTW you are mixing
up metaphors.
Post by NightBulb.net"For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that
circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is
one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and
not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."
Thos verses were spoken to the Jew if you read the chapter in context.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoThe Mosaic Law had specified blessings and curses attached. Not so with the
Gentiles who had the law of God written in their hearts, which many call
their conscience.
Which is the thing Michael has been saying, to follow the heart instead
of a book, for which you call him a devil. If the law of God is written
on my heart, I don't need some self-important, self-righteous "teacher
of the law" telling me how to know God. You are not the judge of who
does or doesn't know God. None of your purity tests or litmus tests have
anything to do with the will of God. You want to examine to see how well
people have washed their cup, but you only look at the outside of the
cup and not the inside.
So you too are saying to follow the heart of sin. He claims one is to put
down the Bible as no salvation can be found there an go out into the world
and seek God. Many use religion, drugs, philosophy to do just that, and there
are many religions and seekers jump from one to the other and are never
satisfied but for a short while.
In case you do not know it, the spirit of God will let us know if another is
a brother in Jesus Christ. Does that mean that the secrets of his heart is
made manifest to us? Not necessarily. But I have experienced the witness of
the Holy Spirit doing just that when I speak with others at times. With
complete strangers, sometimes in the business environment when we are not
even speaking to things spiritual. I more than once have asked the other
person at the proper time if they were of God and they have always said yes.
And then told me that they likewise had the same witness. So we knew that we
were Brothers in the Lord. There is no gauge to measure others by, per se',
so they could be a babe in christ of fully mature. One learns by
understanding and sharing. Yet there is no judgment of who is better, as
foolish pride is of Satan.
I am not a teacher of the law. But there is one litmus test which is given by
God, to Paul, and that is found in Romans 8:9, 10.
Post by NightBulb.net"And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the
least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will
forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."
And this happens only during the millennial rule of King Jesus the Messiah in
the land of Israel, for 1,000 years.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoThose who follow Judaism are under the law, to fulfill the whole law in its
entirety or die a sinner. Why? Because if the only broke on law in their
entire life they are guilty of sin unto death. Spiritual death as there is no
forgiveness for that sin through the sacrifices of animals as prescribed bt
Law, Only through the shed blood of Christ can they be forgiven and redeemed.
Nobody is under the law any more. The Law of Moses was abolished by
Jesus. Those who demand obedience to some rule book are under a curse of
their own blindness, but not the law, for the curse of the law was
removed by Jesus. The gates of Hades did not prevail. Your own self-will
cannot put you under a curse that was already put to death!
Had you paid attention to what I said you would have known that. Well the
first part of your paragraph. Sadly the last part you spoke of is in error.
At least in part. The gates of hell are still swallowing people by the
millions.
Post by NightBulb.netThe law of Moses was a schoolmaster to show the futility of man-made
righteousness. Then real righteousness came, saw, and took names.
You appear to be missing the boat. Your last sentence makes no sense.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoTherefor now only through the shed blood of Jesus can anyone be forgiven of
their sins. Past, present, and future sins. This is for the Jew and the
Gentile alike.
The curse that you level at men is taken away. All men already have been
forgiven by the intercession of Jesus Christ. He even told his Father to
forgive the men who nailed him to the cross.
He asked as they did not know what they were doing as well as did not know
who he was.
I leveled no curse at men, you give me too much power and authority. Jesus
came not to condemn, and said that that men condemn themselves. I believe
Him.
Post by NightBulb.netThere is nothing more that needs to be done. Every man will be punished
for his own transgressions now, or forgiven for his transgressions, in
whatever way God sees fit, but the punishment of permanent spiritual
death is gone, and is no longer on the table.
Try convincing those who currently are going to the pit of Hell, awaiting
judgment day after which they will dwell in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone.
For eternal torture. If you deceive others with such lies, then wait until
they can get their hands on you, should you go there also. You will then live
with that forever and everlasting. I would recommend that you repent and
believe the words that Jesus spoke.
Post by NightBulb.netEither God is all-powerful and has prevailed, and has reconciled mankind
to Himself, or God is not all-powerful and your Roman devil has
prevailed by binding 99.9% of mankind to himself. Choose one.
What "Roman devil", Satan and his angels came from eternity past.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoThere is nothing to support your claim that one must follow all the scripture
or die. You, of all people, should be grateful for that, since you say others
should toss their bibles and for find God on the streets. That is how people
sear their conscience and start walking freely in sin, thinking falsely that
they are just hunky dory. Then they die an everlasting death.
Everyone already is freely walking in sin. Why do you think they are
mortal and dying? Paul said the law of Moses was given so that sin could
abound! Why would God do that?
Because they refused Grace and wanted a way to work it out themselves. So
Moses worked with God to write the laws they were to follow, and Moses knew
they were doomed to failure. Yet that is what the Israelites voted on to
accept as to how they would follow God, in their own way.
Post by NightBulb.net"Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin
abounded, grace did much more abound:"
Again that was under the leadership of Christ. You really need to read that
in context, as many Jews once they realized the freedom they had in Christ
thought that now they could go and pig out on sinful ways since Jesus would
just go ahead and forgive them. Paul stated in very strong terms, GOD FORBID
and did so several times.
Post by NightBulb.netNobody dies an everlasting death. That is Imperial Rome speaking to
terrorize people into submission to their religious and political authority.
Everyone whose name is not written in the Book of Life, goes to the Lake of
Fire and Brimstone, including and not limited to many of the Leaders of the
RCC from popes on down. As will people who worship Mary, the saints, etc.
There will also be many protestants that go to hell for their own reasons. If
a person has not had an experiential relationship with God and He them, they
too will miss out. Which is why a person that is truly Born Again, know it.
Really know it. It is possible for some to fall away and Jesus speaks to that
was well.
Post by NightBulb.net"For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which
receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign
in life by one, Jesus Christ.)"
Yes, that is true. But that parenthesis begins at verse 13 you need to check
it out.
Post by NightBulb.netDeath and hell are swallowed up in victory. The doctrine of everlasting
death is nonsense. All men are to be reconciled to God the Father. Every
filthy, stinking sinner who ever lived will be resurrected to life.
Every thief, robber, murderer, prostitute, moron, liar, will have his
reckoning and bend the knee and confess to the Father. The Devil will
have exactly zero souls in his little volcano torture chamber. Men like
you will be flabbergasted at the kind of people that God is going to
bring into his Kingdom--people you are certain should be burning at the
stake forever.
Not only does Jesus torment the people of this earth during the Great
tribulation, he sends angels to warn those that take the mark of the beast,
thusly,...
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man
worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in
his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is
poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be
tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in
the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for
ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and
his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Rev 14:9-11,
KJV)
And that is just a small vivid example of what befalls sinful men.
Post by NightBulb.net"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
Did you read how that was qualified? And to whom came the great escape?
Post by NightBulb.net"For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to
me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall
give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another
any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an
occasion to fall in his brother's way."
Yes, every knee shall bow before him and recognize Jesus for what he is, as
well as see themselves for the sinner that they are. Deserving of the
punishment they receive.
Post by NightBulb.netYou use the bible as a stumbling block, the same way the Pharisees used
the Old Testament books as a stumbling block. Every knee will bow to God
the Father, and every tongue will confess their sins to him, and all
will be judged by Him, not by you, not by some religious credo or
biblical litmus test.
No, I warn others of Impending doom so that they can escape by putting
themselves into the arms of the Lord and receive forgiveness, it is the stiff
necked and hard hearted people that insist on their own way, their own path
having a form of godliness but denying the power of God who will fall into
the pit if they do not repent.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoYou would be wise to study hard, the first 8 or 9 chapters of Romans, and do
so in concert with the Book of 1 John, all of it. So as to get a clear
understanding of sin, forgiveness, for ones daily walk with the Lord.
Nobody needs your wisdom or study plans. You are not important. No man
is important in God's grand scheme, except for Jesus.
Yet they do need the wisdom of the Lord, which is why I suggest that him and
now you should read as I stated to gain wisdom and insight if possible. I did
not tell you or him what all was written therein, only that it would be of
benefit to you. You can, with prejudice refuse it, that is your choice to
make. But would it hurt you to read it? Or does foolish pride put a stumbling
block in your path?
Post by NightBulb.net"And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the
least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD ..."
You said that up above, it is for the millennial rule of Christ Jesus.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoEven if you are not born again this should benefit you greatly if you ask God
for his help in understanding it as you read through the passages.
There is no benefit of studying the scripture to those who are not born
again. Such is like giving a toddler a bazooka to play with. God knows
where the blind are--in the ditch. He knows how to lift them up out of
the ditch. He will do so on His own time table, not on yours.
Oh Really? “If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death,
he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.” (1Jn
5:16, KJV)
The believers are all called to share the Gospel Message. Those that do not
may find blood on their hands.
Post by NightBulb.netPost by Dr. WhoBut I write this mainly to offset the spiritual lies you have said here so
that others might now right from wrong and how to find the truths of the
matter.
"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall
be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
God put the serpent in the garden to do this very thing, and does not
need your help in the matter. Nobody needs your help to see right from
wrong. Physician heal thyself! Stop being obsessed with horizontal sin
and be obsessed with upright grace!
Your words are those of Satan who seeks to stop the flow of the message go
God to the lost and dying. The false prophets would speak as you do, as they
try and con others to believe in a false Gospel. As Paul has stated,...
Gal 1:6-10 (KJV)
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the
grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert
the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you
than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel
unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I
yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
You really need to be established in Jesus Christ.
