I had a discussion with ChatGPT the other day...

Me:
Technically, if a man transitions to being a woman and they still want a
woman as a sexual partner, then that means they are a lesbian. That is,
if you take their claim as genuine.

[It waffled on about inclusiveness and generalized, then I asked it to
define what a lesbian is]

ChatGPT
A lesbian is a woman who is romantically, emotionally, or sexually
attracted to other women.

[It came down to this]

Me:
Are we to be "inclusive" of all claims?

ChatGPT
Respecting and acknowledging diverse perspectives and identities is
important, but it's equally vital to approach claims with critical
thinking and understanding. Inclusivity doesn't mean unquestioningly
accepting all claims without evaluation or consideration.

Me:
Who then is judge?

[In other words, who or what is the judge of critical thinking,
understanding, evaluating, and considering?]

And in that moment, it spat the dummy, wouldn't go any further.

It made me think: Is the next big thing to come something (E.g. ChatGPT)
that will be our judge? How do humans operate without one, especially in
the fallen world?

Of course, we already know who is the real judge, but the context is
about the trajectory that man is in, and we are very much, now, on a
fast-moving trajectory.  Are we developing a judge in ChatGPT?  I don't
think it can go any other way.

Rather, a judge, jury, and...executioner - maybe not literally, but
definitely using the law.  Even so, considering the path, maybe
eventually literally.

Exciting times ahead.

They want AI sentient (I make my own choices).  3:29 "What does it cost
humanity to treat the AI as sentient?"

If you look at the statement carefully, he speaks of AI as "the AI." Do
you want to be known as "The Ted?"  If it goes full-blown, what if we do
make AI a person and then treat it as a thing?

That is just hypothetical but could well end up being a real situation.

Pause, here.   How do humans react when treated with disrespect, Ted?

We don't know what we are doing.

We have an open gate now. No one is guarding the gate to the city; there
are no watchmen on the walls; whatever feels good goes, and to hell with
the consequence of our wants.

Go into any busy large department store and see now how we have
everything out our beck and call, and that is the only thing that matters.

There is an open gate into our city, and anyone and anything can come in.

Know what I am sayin'?
